WEITech Amplify is a six-month post-convocation initiative by the DreamOval Foundation, funded by the Internet Society Foundation. It is designed to scale local, educator-led digital innovations into market-ready, revenue-generating businesses.

When we launched the WEITech program to bridge the digital skills gap among female educators, our participants took the mandate further. Rather than simply learning digital tools or creating online courses, they built functional platforms, tools and resources to tackle urgent challenges within Ghana’s education system.

WEITech Amplify is our direct response to that entrepreneurial drive. We are moving these women beyond the prototype stage by providing them with the structured mentorship, resources, seed funding, and community support needed to acquire real users, achieve commercial viability, and build sustainable digital enterprises.

How We Amplify Local Innovation

1-on-1 Tailored Mentorship

Exhibitors are paired with experienced founders, business consultants, managers, and technical support experts to navigate product enhancement, user acquisition, monetization, and market entry.

Alumni Peer-Learning Network

Knowledge flows beyond the individual. Through bi-weekly, peer-led virtual masterclasses, mentored exhibitors share real-time business lessons with the wider WEITech alumni network, ensuring collective growth and long-term community ownership.

Competitive Seed Funding

High-potential projects that demonstrate clear market progress during the program receive targeted seed capital to accelerate their launch into the local education ecosystem.
