In May 2024, 17 determined educators started the WEITech Cohort 2 journey to explore how Edtech is making a significant difference in Ghana’s educational system. They were eager to redefine what it means to teach in a digital world. To build teamwork, participants were grouped after every module to become effective collaborators. The sessions helped them use AI and educational apps to develop inclusive online lessons that engage every child, regardless of physical challenges. They also explored ways to personalize teaching, apply STEAM creatively, and build confidence with each new tool they mastered.

To develop entrepreneurial skills, participants learned how to build an online presence, from content creation and social media marketing to managing digital ventures responsibly. They also learned to merge creativity with impact to achieve authenticity. Through group presentations, they gained knowledge while building a supportive community, sharing ideas, and creating a network of women educators ready to lead change through technology.

The program comprises  three(3) core modules: Digital Literacy and Educational Technology, Specialized Instructional Techniques, and Online Presence and Entrepreneurship. To put their skills into practice, they will partake in an Edtech Understudy program, contributing to  Edtech projects and gain hands-on experience. The cohort will conclude with a Convocation and Exhibition.
